- Research and Development (R&D) in Europe is responsible to plan, develop and produce attractive, superior quality cars matching European market requirements. The Technical Affairs Planning Division is a team of 18 people handling Regulatory Affairs and Vehicle Safety Research. For our Regulation activities we are looking for a Senior Engineer Regulation.
Responsibilities: You will act as a Regulation expert in various technical area’s of vehicle construction.You will assess the impact of current and future Regulations on our vehicles together with your peers in Japan and engineers of our Design and Evaluation divisions.You will define comments and position.You will represent Toyota at automotive Regulation working groups.You will communicate and negotiate with the relevant stakeholders during the rule making process.You will assess strategic policy area’s of authorities to anticipate future Regulation trends

Profile |
- Relevant experience and/or high interest in vehicle technology.
Good communicator (towards internal as well as to external parties).Diplomatic and strong negotiation skills.Flexible team player.Open personality able to work in an independent way, hands-on mentality. Experience in information management is an asset.Basic computer skills.Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.Travel: 15-20%.
